How to Prepare for a Campus Placement

30 Oct 2026

Campus placements often move quickly, so prepare before a company visits. Learn the process used by your college and keep the resume, documents and project explanation ready.

Preparation plan

Revise aptitude and communication if the process includes them. Choose one programming language, practise data structures and SQL, review OOP and understand your projects. Research the employer and role before the interview.

Application readiness

Keep a one-page PDF, professional email, GitHub or LinkedIn links and copies of required documents. Read eligibility carefully and do not submit false information. After each test, note what to improve.

Build your placement resume with the builder and check it against the company’s role.

Common questions

When should placement preparation start?

Start early enough to build fundamentals and projects gradually. A short focused revision is still better than waiting for the final notice.

Is aptitude practice enough?

No. Placement processes may also test technical fundamentals, projects, communication and role-specific knowledge.
